As a baby maker myself, I can agree that one of the most incredible gifts we have to offer to life is the ability to create life itself! Just stop and think on that for a moment… Your body can build another human… WOAH so crazy right? Being pregnant is so exciting and sometimes scary ( I want a glass of wine just thinking about my pregnancy challenges) but above all else, it is extremely rewarding! After making a baby for several months, you deserve to LET THAT BELLY SHOW! #babybump Getting your pictures taken during the last stages of your pregnancy is not only incredibly beautiful to capture but it is also a really special way to document the stunning fact that you made it thus far and you are about ready to write a whole new chapter in your life. Wether this is your first pregnancy or your 5th, getting a professional photographer to capture the beauty of your belly and the tenderness it brings is SO important not only for you, but for everyone around you! #2 You are doing it for your baby(s) and all the following generations to come
Yes, getting pampered and getting into a pretty dress (or whatever you want to wear for your maternity session) is fun, and it gives you a reason to take off those slippers and yoga pants…BUT the real story is that you are doing this for not just you, but for your unborn child(ren) and your family and all the generations after them. You are capturing moments of stillness and laughter and lovingness that everyone will be able to look back on and OOOOooo and AHHHHHhhh over. My son loves looking at my maternity session photos and is so excited to see that he was apart of my body in a way that is almost unbelievable. #3 Celebrating where you are at in life right now
Something I love to do is to find any reason possible to celebrate! I love to have a reason to have a special dinner, a special moment, a special outing or gathering or sometimes special alone time (can I get an AMEN?). #celebratelife Honestly, I could find a reason to celebrate everyday, and for the most part, I do; however, something as special as the fact that you are a baby making machine should be in your top 5 reasons to celebrate at least! You are incredible, you are hard working, you are beautiful, you are a creator of life, you are SO special and you deserve to invest in Maternity Photography. Hiring a professional to capture moments of celebration is so important to me and I hope it is for you too!
